  • Blood Relation, Word Formation, Coding & Decoding, Alphabet Combinations, Seating Arrangement (Linear, Circular, Square), Analogy, Statement and Assumption, Assertion and Reason

Numerical Ability

  • Number Systems, Decimals & Fractions, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Simple & Compound Interest, Time, Speed & Distance
  • Mensuration, Geometry, Algebra, Data Interpretation, Time and Work, Permutations & Combinations
  • Quadratic Equations, Surds and Indices, Tendency & Variation, Probability, Series and Sequences, Profit and Loss, Mixture and Allegations, Simplification

IBPS Clerk Mains Syllabus

The IBPS Clerk Mains Exam 2025 will include four sections:

1. General English: (same as prelims but higher level – RCs, para completion, vocabulary-heavy Qs)

2. Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude: All reasoning topics from prelims (advanced level)

Computer basics: Internet, Networking, MS Office, DBMS, Operating System, Shortcut Keys, etc.

3. Quantitative Aptitude: All prelims topics + advanced DI (Caselet, Missing DI, Tabular, Pie Chart, Bar Graph), Data Sufficiency, Probability & Permutation–Combination (tougher level)

4. General/Financial Awareness: Current Affairs (last 6 months), Banking Awareness, Financial Awareness, Static GK

It will be conducted in an objective (multiple-choice) format. The exam is designed to assess a candidate’s problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, analytical ability, and awareness of current affairs and financial knowledge.
