Dates you need to know for 2027

NTA revised its examination calendar on 26 October 2026. CUET (PG) 2027 is now listed for 17 days between 2 and 31 March 2027. NTA marks all dates as tentative.

Educational Qualification

Candidates who have passed a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination or Candidates who are pursuing their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Examination and appearing in the Final Year of their Bachelor’s degree/equivalent examination in 2026, are eligible to appear in CUET (PG)-2026.

University-Specific Age Criteria

There is NO age limit for candidates appearing in the CUET (PG)-2026 examination. However, Candidates are advised to verify the age requirements of the university to which they wish to apply before submitting their applications.

Each university decides its own eligibility. The table below follows BHU’s 2026-cycle programme mapping, which is a good example of what central universities ask for. Other universities may differ, so check your target university’s mapping in the 2027 bulletin.

The marks condition is the same for most programmes: a minimum OGPA of 6.0/10 for General and 5.5/10 for SC/ST/OBC/PWD, with no more than one III-division in your academic career.

For most BSc Agriculture graduates, SCQP01 (Agricultural Science) is the paper. Always confirm the code against your target university’s programme mapping before you pay the fee.

Agricultural Economics, Agronomy, Entomology, Extension Education, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Plant Physiology, and Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry. MSc Horticulture (Fruit Science, Vegetable Science, Floriculture and Landscaping) also uses SCQP01.
